Hi, I had some used 1/2" 10-ply (very nice plywood) that I made into a table top using the Gator ATA case as a base. The Gator case is a very stable base. Now I don’t have to stash my case at a gig, it stays right under the mixer. I opted for 30"x19" table.
The height was just right. This is my small gig setup. I can setup anywhere in the room quickly. The headphone peg is a 1/4"x4" bolt that slides out when needed. The 1/4" plywood strips on the bottom are there because the handle was a bit taller than the corners of the case. I like using an apple box as a seat. It serves multiple purposes.
