If I select 6 mono matrix, I can only select 1-3 in DCA.
Can you slide the display over to get to the other options?
You’re right.
The “joke” is that it works via MixPad.
And the fact that this is not available on the console is certainly not intentional.
Try scrolling the screen upwards.
On mine, Mtx4 and Mtx 5 are on the next line down.
But it’s only Mtx 4 and Mtx 5, no Mtx6
Are you sure that you have really created 6 mono matrices and that there is not 1 stereo matrix?
And is it possible that you are using groups and auxes but have not configured more than 8 of both?
This would mean that for Groups and Auxes on the assignment screen would only need 2 lines, while it needs 3 lines for the theme author (see image) and perhaps for this reason a line is missing below for matrices 4-6.
@A&H: Could something like that be conceivable?
10 aux, 2 groups, 6 mono matrix.
This is the end of the panel.
This time my question was @riggs1963.
But again @nlgibson:
What happens if you config 8 Auxes instead of 10?
Will the missing line below then be visible?
Sorry if I’m extending this thread, but the following problem could also be related to the original problem with the DCA assignments, because the window is not updated correctly, at least for me.
For example, if I reconfigure from 12x Auxes to 12x Groups …
… then I see the 12 Groups under Mix Stereo …
… but still 12 Auxes in the DCA window.
7 aux, 5 groups, 6 mtx,
mtx 4 & 5 are on a line below your mtx 1-3 - mtx 6 is missing
So that would be 2 rows for groups and auxes in the DCA assignments, so (theoretically for this reason) the 3rd row could be available for matrices 4-6.
Have you worked with 5 matrices before and the change to 6 may just not have made it into the DCA assignment yet …
It sounds like the displaying of your matrices 4/5 is right-aligned …
Hi everyone,
Thanks for sharing about this. We’re aware that there is a bug that affects how DCA assignment is being displayed after a mixer config change. The change is happening, but the DCA assignment screen is not being updated correctly.
Whilst we work on a fix, there is a nice easy workaround - simply save a new scene (Or use the scene you’re on, if no meaningful change has been made) and recall it. The DCA assignment screen will then update.
Please do ask if you’ve got any questions, and thank you for your patience whilst we investigate and work on a fix.
Thank you very much!
And to everyone: While submitting tickets is more cumbersome, it actually seems to be much better than posting bugs here.
Absolutely!
To be clear - we would love to hear from everyone who is experiencing bugs. Whilst you may think we’ll get lots of duplicate tickets, that just helps us identify what is going on and get enough information to work towards a fix quickly.
Further to this, it allows us to make sure that everyone is individually communicated with and helped. Please never hesitate to reach out to us for support, as we’re always happy to help and advise.
Thank you for the help from A&H technical support. I apologize, this was my first post on the forum and I don’t know how to submit a bug ticket. THX
