Stagebox/MixRack Connectivity Troubleshooting Tool (packet loss?)

Looking for a simple ‘network’ type tool that can track connectivity with the MixRack or StageBoxes, where just tracking Packet Loss would be an invaluable tool. Is that anywhere on the roadmap? I know that NTP option has been requested, but this goes further into simple cable/connectiivty issues.

The Behringer WING has Packet Loss stats in their 3.1 release. It has been IMMEASUREABLE in finding bad cables/connections for theaters. I had 3 gigs to start the year where I found faulty, unreliable connection issues (cable run, patch cable, patching) at 3 huge theaters. All of them said “we haven’t had any issues”, yet packet loss was substantial. It helped prevent a finger-pointing session, and all were able to be remediated by the House Team. This IS a huge and valuable, simple tool!!!

Have you considered “Wireshark”.

I’ve not used it recently, but i would think it could track what you are looking for without increasing overhead on the dLive system as it runs on your own pc.

Really?
The DX, GigaACE and Slink connections are point to point connections and the LED’s are the fault indicators. Or the logs in the desks.
