Stereo Aux to TRS Cable

Our church in-ears system is currently running in mono from the stage rack into a Behringer Pro-8 HA8000 headphone amplifier with a single TRS jack socket for each channel. I need to supply stereo in-ears for a gig this weekend and have set up the stereo aux’s on the GLD80.

I now need to connect the L and R pair of aux outs from the rack to the Behringer TRS input jack. In making the Y connector for this, do I connect pins 1 & 3 together on the XLR that goes into the rack, sending the pin 2 + signal to the TRS jack, or will this damage the rack output socket in some way and do I just not use pin 3 of the rack socket?

Thanks in advance
Martin
