I am running my first theatre show on a new Avantis with years of dLive experience at my church. At the church we don’t use near as many scenes so layer updates are a big deal. As I’m configuring all the necessary channels, auxes, etc. I’ve found that I need to add channels to different layers but I can only filter or update by bank. Since I have most of my show built out with 150+ scenes right now and custom strip assignments saved to my scenes, I can’t add any channels to either bank without updating the entire bank rather than just a layer or individual strip. I would like to add a monitor channel or FX fader on another layer, but I have to manually update every scene. Even if there weren’t filters for this it might make sense for an update like this be a “relative” change to a bank.
I’ve had the identical problem in an almost identical situation. It’s a pain and unnecessarily cumbersome. I don’t have a solution. Just commiserating. Good feature suggestion, though.

How about using DCA spill?
You can use a DCA group as a POP group. That enables a quick way to configure your strip assignments.
