Here’s an advice until your request is realized.
Simply use a free input channel for talkback to your up to 7 output channels.
You could also assign your headphones to these channels and then hear the talkback there.
This approach has the great advantage that you can also use gate, EQ, and comp for your talkback.
I often use it this way on my consoles, too.

It’s possible that I completely misunderstand you, but usually consoles operated by a sound engineer have a dedicated talkback function.
