Transferring shows between mixpad App instances?

Hi folks, I was recently needing to transfer an SQ mixpad show between two Mac laptops. No problem I thought - I’ll just share it from one and create a .zip file then import that into the other for of the Mixpad App on MacOS… except there is no ‘import from zip file’ option in Mixpad??
I tried unzipping then moving the folder with the two files into the right place but the Mixpad App didn’t recognise the new scene.
In the end I had to create a dummy scene, saved it to the local mac drive, swap out the two files for the ones I wanted then load in from that dummy local save.

That can’t be the official way to do this, right?

An I missing something?
Thanks
Dave

I use MixPad on Windows and there you can find offline under Utility the path to SHOWS, SCENES and LIBRARY.
Under “Help” of the Mixpad I read:
“If a PC (Windows or Mac) is being used, you must set a working directory at the bottom of the Utility > Shows screen.”
So it seems to be the same procedure on the Mac too.

The lack of documentation on this front is frustrating. I currently have a show file sent to me by a client I’m struggling to figure out how to properly import into MixPad (poorly named app BTW for offline editing). Any clarity here would be greatly appreciated from the AH team.

You need to copy your file into the SHOWS folder which you can find on your MixPad at the path below under Utilities > Shows.
If you can’t find such a path there, you would need to use the MixPad app on a PC (Windows or Mac).

Maybe I’m not understanding you correctly.
Should the app change the name if you run it in offline mode?
