# Untracked Preset Recall

Hey A&H,

I would like to see presets recall tracking to be a selectable option on each preset.

It would give the option of using presets like actions to perform simple tasks, and would not change tied layouts and such.

I should think it would be possible since we already have the “Track Embedded Recalls” as a global selection.

Certainly a valid idea, however if the issue is the tied Custom Control Layouts, you can use the ‘Latch’ option in the Layout settings to make sure the Layout stays in place until _any other_ specified Preset for such Layout is recalled.
