Hi, having a gig this coming weekend, the theatre has the surface, I’m traveling with a Idr-16 box with the latest firmware loaded.
No one in the theatre can tell me the firmware version on the surface, but as it hasn’t been used in a long time, I’m suspecition an old version. When arriving I will have a limited amount of time to trouble shoot, how do I in the easiest way update the surface to the latest version without a IDR-box with an old firmware? prefer not to downgrade my box incase I loose my entire show. The theatre only has a surface, no IDRs.

It’s as simple as plugging USB stick with the firmware version you have on your iDR and upgrade only surface as iDR will already have that version and upgrade process will do nothing about it. 2 minutes operation.
