I’m considering using a CQ-12T for an installation and have a slightly unusual requirement. I need it to feed streaming software that only sees the first 2 channels of any USB audio device. To do this, USB output channels 1 & 2 have to be the main LR mix. Is that possible? I don’t have a CQ-12 to test with, but reading the manual seems to indicate that the first 12 channels are set to the 12 inputs and there’s no other patching available. Is that correct?
I know I can work around this by patching main LR outs to input channels 1 & 2, but I really don’t want to do that.
If that’s not possible, maybe something like a ZED-14 would be better, though I’d lose all of the channel processing.
