I have added pre recorded uncompressed WAV files to the USB stick in the desire to play same during set break.
I added 100 tracks but only see 28 available from CQ MixPad control.
Is this intentional ?
Can the maximum be unlimited up to the capacity of the USB stick ?
What sampling rates are supported ?
I assume WAV only, no FLAC.
Some of your files mustn’t be in an acceptable format - I’ve over 80 files on a card that were formatted for a QuPac (wav BWF)
I haven’t tried any variations yet but the spec states 44.1,48 and 96khz files and no mention of BWF.
Converting on iTunes was the way I changed all my files for QU.
Not at my Mac now so can’t tell you the exact settings apart from they were all 48khz 16bit I think.
Thank you for your response.
I reformatted the stick in the CQ, then moved it to the PC.
I copied a playlist to the now reformatted stick.
The tracks do not stay in numerical order, even though they are named 001 ,002…
I have, successfully added more than the 28 previously mentioned in my start to this thread.
But
I go to great lengths to sequence a playlist from one song to the next.
I’m not pleased that this is a glitch.
I don’t want to stream when I have uncompressed files available to me.
Hopefully this can be addressed in a future firmware update.
I haven’t tried added additional tracks to the existing ones on my CQ yet but on the QU, additional tracks added appeared somewhat randomly on the list.
If I wiped and reformatted the drive and added them in one go, the order was always correct.
Hope this info helps!?
