I use the built-in USB recorder feature as a House music playback with a usb storage device. If you have made playlist longer then 2 hours or more the transport slider doesn’t give you the full length of playback and stops around the half hour mark or so…
Also, the playback seems to stop at some point when the playback is this long and never seems to play the full length.

It is my personal opinion and experience that the USB functions in the SQ are really under-built. I think this has to do with the amount of power delivered to the USB port. I have found that my USB problems were solved when I began to use powered (wall wart) external drives when using the USB slot in my SQ. No problems recording since I switched.
I don’t know the reaction of the USB input on the rear panel, and if you are playing back through that port from Reaper on a computer, I would look at the Reaper computer as a possible fault.
