I tried to update my desk the other day to the V1.8. I did install V1.73 first. When I moved V1.73 off of the thumb drive and put V1.8 on the thumb drive to install it, the desk does not find the firmware update. The firmware update is in the root directory on the thumb drive. Is the V1.8 for all mixers, or is it just for the newer mixers?
Have the console reformat your USB drive. Then put the v1.8 firmware on it and try it again on your desk.
What he said above. Same thing happened to me last week. Reformatted with the QU, dropped the FW in the root, and it updated.
Thanks for the help. Reformatting the thumb drive solved the issues. I was able to update to V1.8, then go ahead and update to V1.82.
