Hey folks - I’ve got a lot of experience with other consoles but I’ve only worked with an Avantis a few times.
So I’m wondering - on the Avantis what do aux’s have that the matrices don’t? It seems like I can process, route inputs or aux’s to it… so why wouldn’t I just make all of my buses Matrices? The only reason I can see is that I can’t send matrices to each other.
For example - I know the traditional reasons but on this console why even feed a monitor mix with an aux instead of a matrix? Doesn’t the matrix just give you more flexibility?
