Width and depth on guitars for the chorus

I’m mixing a band as touring sound guy using a SQ5.

In some songs I’d like to widen the two guitars a bit for the chorus and give them a bit more debth.

My current idea is to double the inputs on two new channels, give them a bit different EQ, Tubestage,… and give them a mute group I put on one of the softkeys.

Anyone any other idea?

ADT as send FX on both channels.
Quad track activated… wide switch to on.
