Having the output EQs consist of a 4 band parametric plus a 1/3 octave graphic with a max of only 16 bands usable would be much more useful than the current inane 20 band graphic which leaves me frustrated at trying to work out the intervals relating to the frequency bands. Yamaha have used this option for years.
Thought provoking post,
I wondered the other day on the PEQ display screen what frequency ranges the bold bars represented.
Clearly there’s limited screen space to show all the actual values.
Is there a default standard start point for PEQ bands splits in audio engineering work or presumably the info is defined somewhere I’ve missed in the manual?
