I would like a 6 dB/oct slope (first order) high pass filter on input channels.
I wouldn’t mind that, especially because the shelves don’t have a slope control.
Oh, by the way, please add SLOPE CONTROLS to the shelves!
It really surprised me that even the 12 band EQ does’t have slope controls.

My ideal set for EQ would be:
- 6 dB/oct HPF with full corner frequency range (e.g. 20 Hz to 20 kHz); ideally this would be the HPF on the PEQ screen, that is this would be in addition to the current HPF on the Filter screen
- 6 dB/oct shelf filter
- gain range down to −25 – −30 dB
- PEQ width range increased to 4.5-5 octaves or even full width (e.g. a PEQ filter at 20 Hz would have a half-gain at 20 kHz)
- 5 or 6 bands (8 if you can afford it)
- allow any band to be any type; e.g. allow me to have several upper shelves
