Apologies if this has already been previously requested.
Having the ability to safe specific DCAs would be very helpful, especially for us folk who work on a lot of Musical Theater shows.
For example, often in my MT workflow I will utilise DCA assigns to group performer faders together for vocal parts and this makes balancing vocals a lot easier than individually managing channel faders.
However, as is the nature of performing live, levels naturally change from night to night and having the ability to safe out the DCA that I’ve assigned to control the overall level of a live band would be incredibly useful and allow the fader level to remain unaffected on scene recalls.
I realise this is possible on more advanced consoles such as the dLive, but having this function would make the SQ range of consoles a lot more Musical Theater friendly.
Not sure if there is a hardware limitation with the SQ series preventing this, so interested to find out.
