Actions: Option to apply an action to a Selected channel

In Actions I’d love to have the option to apply an action to a currently selected channel.

Example:
When programming a Theatre show I’d like to select an input channel, then apply an action to it that:
toggles between state A - the channel being sent to a lead Vocal group, taken out a B Vocal group, sets the level to unity, strip Colour to light blue
State B - Channel taken out of lead vocal group, put into B Vocal group, Level at -6dB (for example) strip colour to Green

Combined with a Softkey colour change to indicate the current state.

For this to be possible we need the option in Actions config to have “Selected Channel” as an option in the ASSIGN> CHANNEL TYPE>


    CHANNEL NUMBER
instead of selecting a specific channel.

a Selected Channel option could be useful for many other action functions also.

Yes please, however, could the colours be selectable, please…

make the colours whatever you want. It was just an example. Or do you mean the soft key colours? That would be good!

As a theatre programmer that just bought a dLive, this is a feature I’m really missing from my beloved digico macros.

I’m not working in theater, however, I am using the same lead VOX and BGVS bus principle. This would be great!
