Add a sweep to the generators

The signal generator can do white, pink and sine. How about a sine sweep, which is useful for testing systems.

Oh, and a sharp click would be nice for audible delay timing.

I have and use an RTA (True Audio) with a quick sweep function. I like it and works really well at times. I send the sweep audio out of my laptop into sound system and listen with USB measurement mic. Not sure how their software controls how it syncs the sound out and and recording but I know that with any time delay it misses the peak sound levels as it sweeps. IF A&H gives us that sort of function I think it would need to be time aligned with the listening device or listening unit retain peak reading for the sweep time

I’d like the click also. Perhaps with ability to do click, pause, click-click, repeat with adj on delay between clicks and in the click-click.

So if you’re interested, vote!

You could just use REW (or whatever) from the laptop and input it into a local input on the SQ? then everything is time-aligned (in-out) without latency. I usually only use sweeps for load-tests (to check the PA is right), eg. L’Acoustics Network Manager… or if doing an impedance measurement on a loudspeaker (nerdy stuff)…

I can do it with my phone now. The point is to make it uncomplicated.
