Please add a ratio control to make the gate an expander/gate.
I mix a lot of world music and other acoustic based genres where gates are far too abrupt but expanders work perfectly to control drum sustain and leakage with a more natural sound. There’s much to love about the SQ series - it’s frustrating that the M/X32 has this, but SQ does not.
+1 PLEASE for at least a stock expander with a side chain filter.
+1 Primary Source Expander/Enhancer mode for channel gates would be so helpful! Add this to the CQ series as well.

I accept that not every DEEP Plug-in will be (or can be) made available for the SQ, but surely a basic Expander and or Ducker mode could be added to the current Gate?!
Or if a more condensed version of the Primary Source Enhancer were available; Like the DynEQ4/ MultiBD4(3) are separated from each other vs. the Dyn8 engine… and them needing an FX slot vs. being applied directly on the channel insert? That seems a compromise we could live with, since we already are w/ dynamics (and paid for it!)

yep, even a yamaha 01V96 has it…The SQ5 replaced the 01V… I am quite disappointed.
