I really would love to see the option where you can choose between gate and de-esser on each channel.
A proper de-esser with selectable freq would be a very nice added value for multiple occasions

Having selectable fx type for each “channel slot” (gate, eq, compressor) would be handy.

I would also love to be able to adjust the Side Chain EQ for compressors (basically the same mechanic as a de-esser, but on all compressors for finer adjustments, and in addition of Maarten’s proposal of dedicated de-essers instead of gates)

A good (or any) deesser is really missing on this wonderful console…
I would say offer option to add de-esser on any channel its needed regardless of whether using channel gate. Even touchmix mixer released way back in 2014 has this. Though not always, I sometimes may use softgate on some background vocal mics that also would have de-esser on them.
For the channel gate though id like option to change to expander and or PSE mode as if using PSE for instance it likely always would be instead of a gate anyways.
