Adjust Trim on each meter

Supplying consumer line level equipment with outputs from AHM-32 the levels sent will often distort/peak the inputs on the consumer line level equipment, requiring the output zone from AHM to be set at for example -20dB to avoid peaking the input of other equipment.

This is all fine, and I can still keep the Zone fader at 0dB if desired, but lowering the signal in the XPoint faders to the zone instead, still leaving room on the fader for normal operation.
But the problem is that in this case the VU-meters in both AHM and in Custom Control shows almost nothing as the level is so low and the VU-meters shows 0 dB at +4 dBu.

It would be great to have a way to trim/calibrate the VU-meters level or gain so that we can adjust the VU-meter to show 0 dB at what is equal to 0 dB on the receiving equipment which might peak at 1V/-10dB

There are various balanced line level to unbalance -10 interfaces. RDL Radio Design Labs has quite a few. The added isolation could be an advantage as well. The drive levels would still be “normal” but stepped down at the interface.

A workaround for you could be to apply speakerprocessing 1 way, and adjust the level of the processing.
This way you maintain the VU meter and level of the zone strip, but the output is reduced.

This is exactly what I have done to workaround this. But having a trim as on inputs would be an improvement.
