Adjusting gain cause trim set when stagebox aren't connected

Hi,
I had made a start scene at home without stagebox connected before a show.
At show I hadn’t have good input levels, after check I saw all Trim are at -24db…After set to 0 sound good.

I have checked again and noticed that :

  • when stagebox (AR2412 & AB168) are connect adjusting gain do not change trim value.
  • when stagebox aren’t connected adjusting Gain change also the Trim value…

Firmware 1.3 & 1.4

In my case I had set all gains at 0 but haven’t saw the trim values changed…

For the next firmware update probably you can change this.
One error source less :slight_smile:

when no stagebox is connected, there is no gain parameter that can be controlled, the different stagboxes are slightly different

I’m agree with you but I think the desk could save the information and send it when stagebox are connect.
Actually when racks are deconnected Gain knob change Gain & Trim.
If you don’t display the preamp page you can’t see that and if you copy preamp…
But now I know the subtilitie :wink:
I have tried on SQ MixPad, adjusting gain don’t change Trim :wink:
