I wonder if it would be possible to replace some of the Analogue outputs on a DM64 with AES3 outputs similar to the way it was done on a T series iLive. I know I can add them via a DX32 but just a convenience thing, and I usually need all the inputs I can get my hands on.

There is an accessory card available with 5 AES 3 outputs available. I just ordered a pair for my units.
