I have a simple set up, AHM 16 with an IP8 and an AR84 Audio Rack expander. I have everything connected to a tp-link gigabit switch. I have updated the AHM to the most up today firm ware. I am connected with a m2 Mac book pro. The issue is I had everything working then all of a sudden no sound. The AHM recognizes audio the IP8 even shows audio but nothing through the speakers. If I go into the i/o patch it will work direct connect but not with the IP8 slider. Please any help is appreciated.
What you mean with “expander”?

Yes the Ahm16 is connected to the ar84 through s-link. Then the AHM is connected to the router with the IP8 and computer.
I’m not sure what exactly is connected to which device.
How is the IP8 configured?
Thought it might be easier to draw it.

AHM is a matrix processor that needs setup!
I am a novice setting this up for a church event. So I’m just learning. I did this following the instructions as best I can.
As you can see it’s receiving a signal but no output. I can go to the assign tab and direct out and get audio but no control with the IP8.
I can see from your Inputs and Zones screenshots that all your faders are in the off position - as well as setting the level for the end of the input signal path, you need to set an output level. Don’t also forget to check in your crosspoints in the Zone view - these levels will likely have defaulted to off /-inf dB too.
