AR2412 channel noise issue on GLD and QU

Hello folks,
While setting up my new GLD80 (I own a QU24 as well), I noticed channel 10 emitting a scratchy, loud and also intermittent sound regardless of a mic connected or not. I tested the AR with my GLD and my QU and the noise showed up on channel 10 of both mixers when connected with the CAT 5. So, do I have a blown preamp or does anyone have a suggestion? I appreciate any help!

I know this is an old post and I Hope you got this resolved, but here is my two cents.
The fact that it is the same channel on both boards I would say you have a hardware problem.
If it moved around or was on multiple channels I would suspect the cable first, make sure it is a Cat 5E or Cat 6 STP (shielded twisted pair).
