Ar2412 lost channels

Hi Folks, I have started troubleshooting a problem that recently cropped up. Our Qu-32 to AR2412 seems to have lost inputs 17-24 on the AR2412. Channels 1-16 work great and previously all 24 have worked flawlessly. Our set up is floor wells for all 24 channels wired to our sound closet where they plug into the AR2412. I checked each channel 17-24 todays and had no activity on the mixer. I tried two different scenes just to make sure that the scene we had the trouble with was not at fault. All 24 channels in the floor are routed to the dSnake. Does anyone know if there are fuses per bank or something similar that would keep the last 8 from woking. I did plug a mic directly into channel 24 and still had nothing into the Qu. I ran out of troubleshooting time today but am looking for suggestions.

Thanks, Phil

Do you those channels still show as patched on the input patching screen in the preamp menu?

I did not have time this morning to check that as someone else had the room booked at that time. I will check the next time I am able to get on the console.

Thanks, Phil

Well, since the inputs are in 3 rows of 8, there are probably 3 circuitboards, 1 each for every row. The one for row 1 probably has a connection issue to the rest of the circuit. Maybe time to reset some multipin connectors inside ?

Good luck !

Mikec had the answer. I had built the scenes I was having problems with on my Qu-Pac and transferred them to the Qu-32. It never even crossed my mind that 17-24 were not mapped to the dSnake as I do not have on for my Qu-Pac. Re-rerouted 17-24 on the dSnake inputs and all was right in the world. Thanks for the suggestions and help.

Good to hear it was an easy fix.

I did have a AR2412 (using with an SQ5) loose some channels. It was an internal hardware failure that needed repair. Done and works fine now.

Thanks for the input Dave. It turned out to be a setting in my Qu-Pac that did not translate to the Qu-32. In other words I missed needing to set the dSnake input routing for those channels, 17-24 before saving the scene.
