AR2412 versions

Hi,

I’m looking to buy AR2412, there are 2 different coloured versions shown on seller’s websites, crimson’ish and black.

Are these different versions of AR2412 and if so which is the most recent?

The black one is most recent, replacing the purple one (I just went through this with an AR84).
Other than the color, the black one now has locking XLR inputs, which the purple one did not.
