How can I playback music from Spotify or Apple Music from my Mac over Dante to the Avantis. It’s already set up so I can do virtual sound check but I just want to play music back to the network. Dante controller is patched 1:1 for all 64 channels but I’m not sure how it should be patched on the console for this to work
You just want to use a stereo channel for your “house music” and assign the appropriate Dante input as the channel’s source. So for example, you might use console channel 31/32 for this house music and assign the source of stereo channel 31 to Dante input 63&64 (or whatever Dante input your computer is using).
That channel will work just like any other channel with volume control, channel processing, mute, etc. Be sure to route that channel appropriately (probably directly to the Main LR buss) as well.
