AUM on Ipad and QU24 as soundcard

I apologize for this basic question, but I can’t get my head around this:

AUM on the ipad is my main brain for my setup. I use it as a host for my app synths, sequencers and fx and up to now used a teenage engineering tx6 as an interface for my external synths. Now I would like to replace that my my qu24.

I have channel 1&2 set as the ipad channel. All external gear runs into the qu24, but how do I route that, that only if a QU channel is assigned to an AUM channel sound is given out and not directly to the main out?

All channels containing synths, sequencers and/or effects into a mix, mix into iPad, iPad into channel 1 + 2, channel 1 + 2 into mains ?

Never heard of AUM so if Im talking jibberish I apologize…

no, all external synths into individual channels of my DAW (AUM) in addition to my softsynth channels, then AUM’s sum out to main speakers and monitors.
