Is there any plan to add Gain Assistant and/or Automatic Gain functionality to the SQ series, as is available in the CQ series?
SQ5 in a church setting with basic! sound operator skills could use this as the worship band varies in makeup and performance from week to week.

I’m not such a fan of this idea. SQ is a pretty complex beast - you really don’t want stuff automatically going on in the background for this kind of desk. And the kind of engineers that this desk is aimed at are well used to setting appropriate gain levels.
I do think the feedback assistant is worthwhile but gain assist is for digital desk newbies and less experienced users overall. Not really the territory for SQ in my view.
I agree when you hit the level of an SQ you should not be needing gain assist and I’ll say even the feedback assistant.

By the way: I’ll never understand why users explain in a feature request why they, of all people, don’t need this function. It might well make sense to someone else.
+1 for implementing this function.
Why? As a technician (SQ, Avantis, DLive, QL, CL, DM), I obviously don’t need it either. But with a fixed installation, this allows, for example, an in-house technician to manage simple events without a sound engineer after loading a setup with Autogain. Especially with regard to the SQ Rack, that would really make sense! You don’t have to use it if you don’t need it!
