Avantis can connect with dLive - DM32?

DLive With GX4816

Hi, I’have an Avantis + GX4816. So maybe want to buy a Dlive C2500 but can i use my GX4816 with the Dlive ? Need i a gigaAce card more or anything ? Can i have the RackUltraFX in the console Dlive c2500 because i use the GX4816 ? So many thanks Adrien

Connecting an Avantis to a DLive Mixrack is just like connecting any two consoles together in A&H world. Each console will be completely independant from each other and each will control the I/O (preamp settings, etc) that is directly connected to the console. You can however pass/share I/O between the different systems however.

Specifically with an Avantis and a Dlive, you need to connect the systems together using a dedicated GigaAce connection. A GigaAce I/O card will be required to be installed on the DLive side of things for this connection. You can use the built in SLink port on the Avantis for this connection with the DLive, but if you are already using it to connect to a stagebox or other device, then a GigaAce I/O card would be required on the Avantis side as well.
