Awesome update. More than ever hoped for. Thanks A&H.

I think everyone expected the RUFX card would make it to the Avantis eventually, but the expanded input and buss capacity is an awesome and unexpected bonus! Great job A&H!

It seems like we’re still missing group to group routing (and personally I’d like to see group spill), but other than that, this is a really nice update. I wouldn’t have expected an increase in processing capabilities, so this is a really nice surprise.

Has anybody heard anything about the price of the Avantis RackUltraFX card? Will it be roughly the same as the one for the dLive?

Since it seems to offer the exact same processing, it would be safe to say that the price should be fairly similar to the dLive cost.

Though on the site, it shows this, so might be worth calling your local dealer/distributor and see if they have any word on a price yet? Might be a little soon since it was only announced today.

Just checked Sweetwater and they have a pre-order price up already:

As noted, Sweetwater has the RUFX card as a stand alone purchase for $1999.

If you are purchasing a new console, the cost of the Avantis consoles with the RUFX preinstalled is only $1000 more than the Avantis consoles with just the Dpack addon.

Long story short, Sweetwater has the Avantis Solo Dpack/RUFX listed at $10,999 and the Avantis Dpack/RUFX is listed at $16,999.

I expect these are the retail prices for these options. As always, your dealer may be able to provide better pricing.

Thanks for adding clarification to my post.
I’m not in the US, nor am I in the market to purchase, as we already have a dLive with the UFX, but figured Sweetwater a decent starting point for people seeking pricing information. Especially if they were of US location.

With the addition of UFX will Avantis be getting an Action menu? On D.Live the Action menu is critical for controlling Auto-Tune. So much so that it would take lots of creative scene management to use auto-tune without Actions.
