We have 1 rack and 2 surfaces (FOH, Brodcast)
Is it possible to complety block the Brodcast from bringing channels 1-64 onto the surface and making changes to them and only allow them to use 65+
The DLive system has Multi-Surface Mode and “Surface roles”, but I don’t think they will prevent someone from bringing channels onto the Surface if they so desire. However the use of roles certainly makes it easier to ensure two or more Surfaces are not “stepping on each others toes” accidentally.
For example, scenes and recall filters are set to ensure each Surface has the ability to save/load their own scenes, but loading a scene on one Surface won’t affect the other Surfaces.
There are “default” Mixrack show files called “Multi-Surface FOH” and Multi-Surface MON" that will set this up fairly automatically by simply loading the show file on the applicable Surface.
