Had my first live band gig mixing for a band.
Sounded great.
But when I’m tried to play break music connected to the mixer’s Bluetooth, my iPhone would start skipping whilst playing the song.
Later, when I got home I hooked up an external BT player and took the stereo outs of that intontwomofvthe stereo ins. and it worked flawlessly.
Any ideas?
How did the internal Bluetooth receiver work at home?
Could have been lots of other Bluetooth interference / devices where you were at.
I have a CQ-18T and have discovered that the built in Bluetooth is unreliable for iPhone audio playback (audio stops/gaps/&speeding playback) IF you also have 2.4Ghz WiFi enabled. Switching the built in WiFi to 5Ghz fixes the issue. Others have also noticed this problem.
Interestingly however - my iPad (gen7) would bluetooth audio connect OK to the CQ-18T with 2.4Ghz Wifi enabled! Perhaps this is an iPhone to CQ Bluetooth only issue??
