Brand new ME-500 setup question w/QU-32

Hello, we purchased and installed our first ME-500 last night. I have a few questions as we dive a little deeper into the setup. We plan to add a PoE switch (8 port). We DO NOT plan to add an expander, so the dSnake would go directly into the PoE switch.

Question #1) On an 8-port switch, which port do you connect to the dSnake?

Question #2) On the QU32, how do you select which channels are fed to the ME-500? With only 16 available channels, some of the ones I need are above channel #16 on our console.

In my experience, it doesn’t matter which POE port is used.

Me500 only reads the first 16 mono or stereo inputs. You change the source for these via the input/output page.
