It would be incredibly useful, particularly in the house of worship market, to have some form of “mastering limiter.” It could be either a Deep model, or an FX unit. Having a limiter with a threshold and ceiling (like Waves’ L-2, or the FabFilter Pro-L) would help those running a broadcast mix off of a matrix get that output to a more “mastered” level without needing a Waves server or outboard gear. Currently, setting the compressor to inf:1 is not very transparent, and the gain is still post limiting, making it difficult to cleanly increase RMS without raising the peak level.
