Coming from analog land, a given aux mix was either pre or post fader. Coming from the X32, for a stream mix, we would set some inputs pre-fader and some inputs post-fader on the same mix, depending on factors like the source may not be in the primary mix at all, while needed in the stream mix. Other inputs however needed changing in the main mix, so we would set a starting level that is added or subtracted from, automatically with this set at post-fader in the same mix.
