Here is my question. I record us briefly at a gig prior to the show. I record post everything except amm. Then I go and play back the recording. If I adjust the recording to sound like the mix we want, will that mix be replicated when we switch back to live? Or does fader position not impact recording levels?
You need to record PRE everything. straight off the preamp, otherwise when you play back, you’re essentially double processing everything. You want your recording to be the same as the raw mic source.

Ah right. Of course. Thank you. Recording pre is the levels at input and therefore the faders are only mixing post record. Thanks a lot.

How do you record pre on the qu32? I just got livetrax2 to record while we play live at the church for a virtual sound check, so I want to be able to record as raw as possible.
