Can QU-SB or QU-PAC be hardwired to MAC or iPad?

I’m in a situation where I need a very small flypack WITHOUT wi-fi. Can QU-SB or QU-PAC be hardwired to MAC or iPad? MAC would be preferable. Thanks!

With an iPad and a lighting or USB C to ethernet adapter you can.

Thanks for the post. Bummed about no mac app.

I have installed BLUESTACKS and run Mixing Station for Android on my Macbook.

Interesting Hoody. I will look into Bluestacks.

Is this something you have done, or just theorised about? I did this but it didn’t work. When I tried to get into the Qu_pac with Qu-Pad it threw up a “Couldn’t connect” error.

Did you have a router connected to the QU Pac and then connect the iPad to the another port on the router?

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the contact…

I’ve a Lightning iPad to Ethernet adapter gizmo. (I don’t know the right term for the iPad’s physical interface port.)

The CAT-5 plugs into the Qu-Pac like you would with a (wi-fi) router.

It will connect after a short while and allow me to see the Qu-Pac.

Fire, up Qu-Pad, select User:=Admin, it has a go but kicks up an error. Sorry to be a little slack, I didn’t write the message down, but I think it was a Failure to Connect.

I looked at the iPad’s Ethernet info and it appeared to be what the Qu-Pac said it was. Admittedly my datacomms knowledge is not great.

Grateful for your help, jb.
