Following up here again, as I learned Thomann is not only out of stock of the bag, but even if they do get it back in stock, since I am in the US, it would be insanely expensive to ship it here due to the tariffs/taxes. Does anyone know of any US-based dealers that have this bag? My understanding is that it has been discontinued by A&H themselves so it’s been impossible to find. I also haven’t even been able to find it used on Reverb or eBay. Appreciate any further guidance.

The AP9931 carry bag has not been discontinued and can be ordered by any of our distribution partners.
We’ve actually just updated the description for them, being that they’ll fit Qu-16, SQ-5 and now Qu-5 and Qu-5D.
You could check with our US distributor AM&S (https://www.allen-heath.com/distributor-location/usa/) to see if they have any or know any dealers who do.

Thanks all for the guidance here. I ended up going with Under Cover, per recommendations from others on this forum, and am very happy. The quality, material, and craftsmanship of their custom bag is excellent and exceeded my expectations. If anyone else is looking for a bag, give them a call and ask for Dave.

Like other folks, I’m also looking for a padded bag for a QU-5.
The A&H model #AP9931 case looks ok which fits a Qu-16 or QU-5.
Like a Gator hard foam case (but they don’t have a case either).
Not a 20-30 lb hard case or full rack. Just a padded bag.
So far that is not really in stock anywhere.
Dozens of web sites all say “No longer made”
or No such item.
I did find it listed at a few random sellers overseas sites with no reviews, bad trust ratings and $200-300 shipping, no retunrs + tariffs.
Regular US sites don’t have it at all such as
, Zzounds, FullCompass, Musicians Friend,etc

Amazon redirects to random Chinese products as usual.
I’ve looked at dozens of pages of search results and webs sites for hours and there seems to be no legitimate sellers of an AH QU-5 or QU-16 padded case while A& H says there is.
The A&H forum says see if their distributors can order one.
I tried that but the A&H distributor page has no search feature or products or addresses.
There was ONE distributor listed for the US.
“American Music & Sound” in Bloomfield, CT.
Their web site is the same as the rest. “Item not found”.
Google and the Internet says that bag is not made anymore.
Does A&H plan to make a padded mixer case?
