CDM48 - Lost phantom power 1-8 channels

Hi,

I don’t have phantom power for channels 1 to 8. The mixrack LEDs don’t light up, nor does it supply phantom to the microphones. The channel 9 - 48 works normally.

Any ideas?

It could be as simple as a loose power connector going to that preamp card. It could also be that some electrical circuit has failed - likely the phantom power circuit for those 8 channels (which are all on a single circuit board). I would suggest that you contact your local distributor and/or A&H official support (through the main A&H website support page) for more help. If the Mixrack is under warranty, I would expect it to be fixed. If it is not, your local distributor can likely order a replacement part and/or connect you with an authorized repair center.

I have a picture of that card (found somewhere on this forum, I believe) and all the signals to/from that card are on a single connector. Based on that, unfortunately, the loose connection option is unlikely.

You mean sockets 1 to 8.
You can patch different sources (sockets) to the channels, so it is possible that the preamp screen controls different sockets.
