CDM48 rack overheating

HI, i bought a CDM48 maybe 5 years ago and always felt that it got quite hot, even indoors and in colder seasons. When i disconnected the xlr’s after a show they were hot and the front felt hot also. One year ago i had a rack crash. Was the last song and restarting solved that problem. but 2 weeks ago it was hot outside and rack stood on stage kind in sunlight when it crashed during soundcheck. I put it in the shade and put en fan on the front and that solved it but i began to wonder if the fan was working. Today i removed the back plate with connectors on the backside of the rack and fan was not turning and i could see on the blades that there was no dust on the rim. So i opened up the CDM48 rack and look what i found, someone really cocked up or it was on a Monday
the 24 power to the fan controller was reversed soldered on the pcb, doh. resoldered and fan is working now. So beter check if the fan is running on your rack.

I would not be happy at all to find that if in fact it happened during the build.
That is very poor quality control and a very obvious error.
