I hate to alway go thru softkeys for just turning the lowpass on. We have something like that for compressor and gate, why not for Lowcut? We even have the control on the custom rotaey, but there is no use to it, if I always have to go thru a menu to turn it on.
Thanks für a “follows selection” in the channel-procession buttons option. ATM I can only use it fixed to specific channels.
What I do is I have the low cut always on, set to the lowest custom rotary but at lowest freq, which is 20Hz iirc. So basically not doing anything. If I need a low cut, I turn up the freq knob to where I want it. This way there’s no need for an on/off switch.
Its a workarround, wich always moves the timeallignement of the lowest frequencies. My PA gos down to 20hz, and if I have a shift of 20 degrees in phase at 20hz, Its about 3 to 4 ms late. Sounds like nothing, but is more than nothing.
There is a reason, why you can toggle such features. And for gate and compressor it would be good too.
There is a custom button wich can put this setting on and off, but it is fixed to a specific definable chan.
There has only to be an option, that it follows select
Of course it’s a compromise, but honestly… 20Hz… I don’t care much about 20Hz.
This workaround works for me, but I fully support your request. It would be handy.
