Forgive me if this has been covered before but I am having an issues with our stereo IEM setups.
All of my sends are set to Pre Fader and none of my inputs are double patched.
I am still getting a decent amount of signal coming through the in-ears even when the faders are pulled all the way down within each individual Aux Mix. I double checked routing and everything is set to Pre Fade.
Regardless of the post/pre setting, if you pull down the aux send level of a specific channel, FX, buss, etc it should lower that audio in the aux buss. (I’m sure the OP knows this, but I am just stating the obvious for future readers so that everyone is on the same page).
If you are getting audio coming through the aux out even with the aux send levels completely pulled down, that is a strange one. Normally something else is still being patched through the aux. Double patching individual inputs is an obvious possibility, but it could also be FX returns, etc that you are hearing through the Aux because those send levels are still turned up in on the aux buss.
I would suggest selecting that aux’s “Mix” button and going through every channel, FX, buss, etc and pull down the send levels until you find the culprit.
That is a great suggestion. Many times people route something to the “Ext In” source either by mistake or by misunderstanding the normal use case for that function. Anything routed to the Ext In will be heard regardless of any “send level” settings.
