It would be awesome if I could use my waves fit in conjunction with director and have basic functions such as channel select, layer select, tap tempo, etc work natively with director. I currently use mixing station, and its fine, but I’d like to live in the director environment as its what im familiar with.
Soft Key MIDI functionality would be amazing also!

That being said, A&H does have the IP controllers available right now. I realize they are really expensive for what they are, but they also work really well. Initially I also used Mixing Station along with a Waves Fit Controller, but ended up finding a great deal on some IP8 and ended up buying 5 of them. I now use three at FOH with Director for a surface-less solution and they work well enough that I’ve stopped using Mixing Station and the Waves Fit Controller for this purpose.
I still think the retail price is WAY too high for the IP8 (and IP6), but if you can find them used or on sale, I would suggest trying them out.
