In firmware 2.11 the input/output link was introduced for the peakLimiter76. Thanks for that!
It would be great to see this also in the new compStortion compressor.
I mentioned it in the first 2.11. It is hilariously A&H. You are a bit nicer about it though.

Just add it to all the compressors already 
Though the gain link in the 1176 isn’t 100% accurate… You need to unlink it, bump up the output by a little, then link again. Then it’s an accurate in/out balance.
