Connect the CQ18T mixer to any keyboard using a USB A to USB B cable to enable

As a performer, I frequently encounter challenges in accurately setting the “beat delay” value within the FX unit during live performances.
The inability to dynamically adjust this parameter, particularly when performing solo, can significantly impact the overall sound.
I propose that future updates to the CQ18T mixer include the capability to synchronize with a keyboard via a USB A to USB B connection.
This integration would enable the mixer to automatically detect tempo changes initiated from the keyboard and adjust the beat delay accordingly.
I have previously achieved similar functionality using a Dynacord mixer by interfacing the mixer’s MIDI IN with the keyboard’s MIDI OUT.

Is this suggestion possible or difficult to achieve? Can anyone answer me here?

A&H employees say that they register every suggestion here in the user forum, but of course they only comment on it in very rare cases.
And other users probably won’t be able to answer your question.
But since even implementing such a request can take many years, perhaps an alternative for you would be to simply connect a foot switch and use it to tap the tempo.

Thanks for your response
I’m using a foot switch to tap the tempo, but I find it distracting.
I’m looking for a way to have the keyboard automatically adjust the tempo.
I’m thinking of using a TRS Stereo to Din 5 Pin MIDI Male Stereo Audio Cable to connect the mixer to the keyboard.
Do you think this would allow the keyboard to interpret the tempo information from the mixer?
