Hi,
we have a QU16 and we want to control for example the internal effects using a pure MIDI signal with a MIDI cable using a Windows-program that sends those signals during our live gigs.
Any idea is welcome.
Thanks
Michael

I was able to record for example a Mute for three channels from the Mixer to Cubase, but if I was playing the MIDI file, it didn´t have any effect on the mixer!?
I found the solution now, but I have another problem: how can I get the actual IP address of the mixer? As it is given by DHCP dynamically, it could change!?
I found out how to get the actual IP address in this article: QU-16 won't pull IP address from DHCP server
“Finally found the assigned IP address under Utilites tab and then under the Diagnostics tab on mixer”
Ah, you’re probably right.
Under “Control - Network”, a potentially assigned static IP address is apparently always displayed, even when DHCP is enabled.
the static IP address doesn´t really help if the IP address assigned by DHCP is different from that. Anyway, I know now where to find it. Thanks for your response! Appreciated!
